Steve Guitierrez, Manager at 610 Clematis Condominium, is teaching his Spanish speaking staff English during their breaks.
Steve has initiated an English class for his non-English speaking employees by combining their two 15 minute breaks into one 30 minute class several times weekly.
The Central Florida Region purchased Rosetta Stone software to help Steve in their effort. The students, Oscar, Herberto, Frankie and GiGi, have really taken the class seriously and their progress is evident.
The class is fun and interesting and everyone participates; even challenging one another.
They display greater confidence and enthusiasm when communicating with their colleagues and English-speaking residents.
Congratulations to Steve and his staff for their effort. Keep up the good work! It will benefit us all.
