Pressure cleaning of the walls and turrets on the Recreation Deck started this morning, Monday, January 12th. Maintenance is also cleaning the patio decks before painting begins.
After the walls and turrets are cleaned they will be painted with a new and very high-end quality paint to protect them from the dirt that drops down on us from the sky above.
The north side will be completed first followed by the east side and finally the south side. As was noted in a previous “post” the entire cleaning and painting process is expected to require 3-4 weeks.
It always starts with cleaning. Clean. Clean. Clean. Never, ever paint over dirt!
The developer didn’t think water outlets were needed on the Rec Deck so he didn’t put any in. So the hose has to be laid out from the wash room all the way out to Unit 203.
